OPERATION & MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
AquaSHIELD enclosures are easy to install, and require minimal maintenance. Reference this inspection checklist before each cold season to ensure protection.
Before each cold season an inspection should include the following:
- Ensure power is supplied to the heater and that the GFCI is working properly.
- Inspect the position of the thermostat and set to the factory arrow marker or 40°F.)
- Ensure proper operation of the heater. An ice cube on the sensor bulb is recommended.
- A visual inspection for physical damage and leaks is recommended upon every visit.
- Ensure proper operation of all locks, latches, and handles upon every visit.
- Notify AquaSHIELD of any missing or damaged insulation panels.
- Ensure proper operation of all accessories:
- Strobe Lights
- Wet Location Lights
- Temperature Alarms
- Exhaust Fans & Louvers
